New SVSC Office Administrator
I can hardly believe it. As I near the end of my second year as your President we have hired another new Office Administrator. Our friend Katherine Thomason has decided on a career change. KT resigned in late August. Her resignation had nothing to do with our Club where she tells us she experienced one of the most fun jobs she's ever had. We enjoyed working with Katherine and are sorry to see her go. Good luck KT and we all wish you the greatest possible success in your new endeavors.
On August 15 we hired a new Office Administrator. We are very pleased to announce Gretchen Palmer is our new "Sheriff" with the tough job of keeping everything in order and your Officers out of trouble. Gretchen comes to us with an extensive family and personal background in everything skiing. I suspect most of you know (or know of) her husband, Terry Palmer, a former US Olympic Alpine Team Member. Terry & Gretchen have three children and in the tradition of the family they are all Alpine racers. Also, Gretchen's parents, Peter & Anne Marie Wick have been members of the SVSC for many years.
We are excited to have Gretchen on our team and look forward to working with her in the years to come.
